Yesterday, Mama Adom Dakesi IV, Queen Mother of Gbi Kpoeta, organized a heartwarming ‘One Girl Child, One Sanitary Pad’ project at the E.P Basic School in Gbi Kpoeta, Hohoe. It was a wonderful initiative aimed at supporting young girls in their menstrual health and hygiene needs.

We are proud to announce that BKQ Foundation was the official sponsors of this initiative. Our foundation contributed 1000 packs of sanitary pads to provide essential support to the girls. Each girl received 6 packs of sanitary pad to support them during their next six menstrual cycles.

Representatives from the District Health Directorate also played a crucial role by educating the girls on basic hygiene practices during their menstrual cycles. They provided important information on how to use and dispose of sanitary pads correctly, ensuring the girls have the requisite knowledge to stay healthy and comfortable.

Through collaborative efforts and community support, we are truly making a difference by empowering young women in our society. Let’s continue to foster kindness, support one another, and inspire positive change. Together, we can create a brighter future for all.
