Founder and Executive Chairman of the BKQ Foundation, Mr. Benjamin Kofi Quashie, delivered a powerful speech at the International Peace Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa, yesterday.
During his address, he urged all democratic institutions in Africa and election stakeholders to collaborate to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections in their respective countries. He emphasized the need to strengthen democratic institutions in Africa to implement the necessary reforms for growth and prosperity on the continent.
Mr. Quashie expressed optimism that through collective efforts, African countries can enhance democracy, fostering peace and creating a conducive environment for development.
Mr. Quashie was sworn in as an international peace ambassador and is expected to collaborate with the international peace network South African Chapter to facilitate peace education and awareness among the people of South Africa, particularly focusing on promoting peace during and after the 2024 elections.
