The BKQ Foundation has unveiled a new mechanized borehole to boost access to potable water for residents of Antobiase in the New Edubiase constituency of the Ashanti Region.

The initiative came to fruition following a request from Mr. Abdul Adams Salam, the Member of Parliament for New Edubiase, recognizing the critical need for clean and easily accessible water sources in the area.

Previously, the residents of Antobiase had to rely on water from a dugout well, which does not only pose health risks but also brought about daily challenges

The introduction of the mechanized borehole now offers the community a reliable and sustainable supply of clean drinking water.

The BKQ Foundation reiterated its commitment to champion the strength of united efforts and partnerships in driving positive transformations.

“We express profound appreciation to Hon. Adams Salam, the residents of Antobiase, and all our collaborators whose contributions made this project a reality.

“Collectively, we are effecting change, one borehole at a time,” the foundation stated on its website.

BKQ Foundation is an established Non-Governmental Organization based in Ghana and registered under the laws of Ghana as a company limited by Guarantee. It was founded in response to the pressing needs and challenges faced by deprived communities in the country.
